Barcelona is home to one of the largest and most architecturally rich medieval districts in Europe. During the tour, you explore the city's historic Old Town, known as "Casc Antic," where centuries of history come to life.

You wander through the narrow labyrinth of streets in the Gothic Quarter, originally built around the ancient Roman forum. Here, you visit the impressive Barcelona Cathedral, both from the outside and inside (subject to schedule), stroll through the old Jewish Quarter known as “El Call,” and pass Sant Jaume Square, home to the exterior of both the Generalitat Palace and City Hall.

Continue to the medieval Plaça del Rei, once the seat of royalty, before heading toward the historic Ribera district. There, you admire the Santa Maria del Mar church—an elegant symbol of the area’s past as a hub for merchants, sailors, and artisans.

Your tour concludes on the vibrant boulevard of La Rambla, where you can pause to enjoy one of the open-air terraces.

Take your time to soak in the atmosphere and perhaps enjoy dinner at one of the many cosy local restaurants.

And here’s a little tip for food lovers: dining in Cordoba is a real delight. The cuisine is outstanding and surprisingly affordable. This southern gem—once one of the world’s greatest cities—is the birthplace of two standout dishes in Spanish cuisine: the rich and tender bull’s tail stew and salmorejo, a creamier, heartier cousin of gazpacho.

Following breakfast, you meet your private guide in the hotel lobby and set off on a 3-hour walking tour through the most remarkable sights of Cordoba, once the largest city in Roman Spain.

As you explore by day, you’ll notice how the city reveals a different character from the impressions you gathered the evening before. Your tour takes you to the ancient Roman Bridge and the striking 14th-century Royal Castle, the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos.

The highlight is a visit to the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of Europe’s oldest mosques and the city’s crowning jewel. After breakfast, you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and set off on a panoramic tour to discover the essence of Seville.

Today’s itinerary immerses you in the authentic Andalusian spirit of one of Spain’s most captivating cities. You begin with the emblematic Giralda Tower, once a minaret and now the bell tower of Seville Cathedral. You then visit the magnificent Seville Cathedral itself, a monumental Roman Catholic church built in the 16th century to showcase the city's power and prosperity. It stands today as the third-largest church in the world.

Next, continue to the breathtaking Real Alcázar of Seville, the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe. This architectural gem is a fusion of styles and eras, with each section reflecting a different chapter of Spanish history. Together, the Alcázar, the Cathedral, and the General Archive of the Indies form a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Upon arrival at the train station, you are warmly greeted by your driver and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After leaving your luggage in the storage room, you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and begin a fascinating walking tour of Madrid de los Austrias – the historic heart of the Spanish capital, rich with landmarks from the 16th and 17th centuries, during the rule of the Habsburg dynasty.

Your exploration starts at Plaza de Oriente, followed by a visit inside the majestic Palacio Real (Royal Palace). You then admire the striking façade of the Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Almudena and continue along Calle Mayor. Next, you arrive at Plaza de la Villa, stroll past the vibrant St. Michael's Market, and wander down the charming Cava de San Miguel. The tour concludes at two of Madrid’s most iconic spots – the elegant Plaza Mayor and the lively Puerta del Sol.
